CUSTOM TOOLBELTS - HOW MUCH DOES SOMETHING LIKE THAT COST?
Now this is a tricky one - we do belts to suit lots of different people!
It can be anywhere from $250 - $1500 NZD depending on the level of customisation, additions and embroidery. Please have a look through the website to see what works best for you.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSONALISED AND CUSTOM OPTIONS?
PERSONALISED: Your first selection is the right or left hand super yankee, this is when you can select a number of additions to your tool belt, eg speed square pocket on the left, braces, phone pocket to be added to the nail pouch. IF you select internal pockets such as Nippers it will automatically update to a pouched pocket so there is room for your additions. You can also select colours such as Brown for the main pockets but blue feature pockets - add your logo or name. A quote can be sent to you in the first instance to confirm you are happy with everything you have selected.
The list can go on. Each of the options are available when you make your order.
CUSTOM: This is when you want to change the layout or have something very specific you want made. E.g. A custom plumbers, or hunters belt. The custom order process begins with scheduling a consultation with Glen this can be in person by phone or video chat.
CONSULTATION
The consultation charge is $80.00 NZD. This includes the consultation and Glen's drawing of your custom piece. Once approved by the customer we then provide a quote and book your custom piece in for production.
Custom pieces are very focused work so we only have 10 consultations available per month.
HOW QUICKLY CAN I RECEIVE MY ORDER ?
• Standard orders are processed once payment is received, and you can expect a 2 week turn around.
• Personalised and custom orders once payment has been received, are around 3 - 4 weeks.
• Childrens tool belts are turned around as quickly as possible and normally with in a week.
If there is a special occasion or if a tool belt has been stolen or some other contributing factor please contact us and we can always work with these things in consideration.
WHAT IS OUR MILLENZ BEST SELLING TOOLBELT ?
Hands down the most popular and top selling is the Original Super Yankee, and that's why we base our personalised belts from the original.
WHAT COLOURS ARE OUR TOOLBELTS AVAILABLE IN ?
The main body of the tool belt is available in Black, Chocolate brown or Barlie leather.
The coloured leather is normally slightly lighter so we prefer to only use this for features. You have Blue, Green, Yellow Gold, Red and Pink.
You can also use the main body colours e.g. Black with barlie features or Barlie with brown feature pockets. This selection for feature colours is available in the personalisation orders.
In shop direct you can select your colour of black, brown or barlie. The barlie and brown leather is two tone front and back so you will have a natural tonal difference in the toolbelt.
DO YOU HAVE RIGHT AND LEFT HAND OPTIONS ?
Yes we have both Right hand (RH) and Left Hand (LH) options available in the majority of our tool belts. This can be selected in the shop direct, personalised and custom options.
DO THEY COME WITH A LEATHER BELT ?
A majority of our premium belts come with a leather belt, as this is needed to provide stability to the belt. We do use webbing belts for smaller or different layouts. Such as a plasterer, fixer, fussy or electrician and childrens pouches.
You will see In the product description for each item which belt it comes with.
CAN I HAVE A SKETCH OF MY TOOLBELT ?
YES - But only if you have ordered a custom tool belt. This is included as part of the consultation process.
Should you want a sketch of a personalised belt we can arrange this for you. A $45 fee is charged to allow for the time take to draw up your tool belt.
Drawings are available for our standard range by request.
DO YOU HAVE A SLOT FOR THE DOGGIE BAR ?
Yes there is - you can see it here in this photo.
A doggy bar is generally on the opposite side to the hammer holder and its riveted to hold between the pockets of the belt. A separate doggy bar sling is available via the personalisation option if this is you preference.
WHERE DOES THE SPEED SQUARE GO ?
Our tool belts do come with a number of pockets and the speed square is one of the more common personalisation requests. In personalisation you can select to add the speed square, this is a separate pocket that dose not impede on nail pocket space.
DO YOU SELL BRACES ?
YES - Our braces are a 3 point harness, available in red or black with clip or thread options. Please see our size guide for sizing infomation.
You can find them in personalisation with the selection options. If you want to add them to your set up or they are sold separately in accessories.
We do like to fit these to customers when they are purchased to get the set up right. Unfortunately this isn't always an option. We do ask how tall you are, so that we can try to send you the correct setup. We have standard and tall options.
We can also have clips attached to the braces for easy adding and removal.
Please note we do recommend threading your braces through the belt, as we believe this provides better weight disbursement. A video on how to thread your tool belt is available on our website and also our instagram page. We offer a how to area that explains various options.
HOW DO I FIT THE BRACES TO MY CURRENT TOOLBELT ?
In most cases yes you can - we have videos available on our website and also our instagram page. We offer a how to area that explains various options.
IS YOUR PROUCT AVAILABLE IN ANY RETAIL STORES ?
We do sell direct in most cases. Stores can order from us - different stores have different policies. If you or a business you know are interested in stocking our product, please get in touch with us!
CAN I HAVE MY NAME OR COMPANY LOGO EMBROIDERED ON MY TOOLBELT ?
YES - This is an option you can select before adding you chosen product to cart.
You can choose if you want them logo to go on the pouch or on the belt loop. For larger logos we recommend these are embroidered on the belt loop as you have more space.
You can upload a logo file or enter your name before adding product to cart. We will be in touch once your order has been processed and if we have any queries regarding your order.
• There is an artwork set up fee of $45.00
• The name or logo embroidered is $20.00
Again this is in the personalisation area when you select your tool belt.

YES - We can ship our product WORLDWIDE.

DO YOU SELL INSERTS FOR CHISEL POCKETS ?
No - at this stage we don't sell plastic inserts - This could change as we are always looking at ways to improve our products.
What we do have and suggest as an alternative:
• We rivet the bottom of the pocket this minimises the risk of the chisel going through the pocket.
• Our suggestion is putting a small amount of saw dust in the bottom of the pocket, or placing a ball of cotton wool with a small amount of oil - this acts as an additional barrier and will also protect your chisel.
DOES SIZE MATTER ?
YES - If you are purchasing our belts it's important to consider your waist size. The reason being is our premium or large belts are made to fit a 38” minimum. We can alter the layout by sculopping in the sides of the belt to fit a smaller waist but some belts are just to big. We recommend smaller belts for smaller built people. It means you get a belt to work for you not wrap around you twice! Please see our size guide for more infomation.
